- Volunteer Information: When you sign up as a volunteer, we collect your skills, availability, interests, and contact details.
- Communications: When you contact us directly, we may collect information you provide in your communications.
2.2 Information Automatically Collected
- Usage Data: Information on how you use the Platform, including pages visited, time spent on pages, navigation paths, and features used.

- For volunteer opportunities, we share information relevant to the specific opportunity.
- We provide donation receipts and yearly donation summaries on behalf of verified nonprofits.

- Payment processors (for platform fees, such as PayPal)
- Cloud hosting providers
- Analytics providers

Note: For donations made to nonprofits, the payment processing is handled directly by the nonprofit’s chosen payment processor, and those transactions occur directly between you and the nonprofit’s payment processor.

- If Gudsy is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Gudsy™ itself does not run advertisements or participate in ad syndication networks.
9.3 Use of AI and Automated Systems
Gudsy™ uses AI-powered tools (such as semantic search and recommendation systems) to improve the Platform experience. These tools may process information you provide (such as nonprofit descriptions, donation activity, or volunteer preferences) to generate better search results, recommendations, or matches.
Important clarifications:
- We do not use your personal information, donation data, or nonprofit profile data to train AI models.
- Our AI systems are used solely to enhance Platform functionality and are not designed to create independent profiles of users or nonprofits.
- Content that nonprofits share publicly on the Platform may still be visible to third-party AI systems that crawl public websites. Gudsy has no control over how external systems use publicly available information.
10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our Platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Platform only with parental or guardian consent.
